All you need to know about NNC 2023
Melbourne University Lightning are proud to have three representatives from the Club taking part in the 2023 National Netball Championships.
This years’ event will take place from April 11-16 at CDU Stadium in Marrara, Darwin.
The National Netball Championships is Netball Australia’s 17/U and 19/U state pathway competition. Across both age divisions, 72 matches will be played - 56 preliminary matches and 16 finals matches.
Selected in the Victorian 17 & Under team is Saraha Ball, who debuted this season in the Club’s 19 & Under Victorian Netball League (VNL) team.
Grace Markovic has had a strong start to the VNL year in the Championships side, and has been named captain of the Victorian 19 & Under team.
From our phenomenal Windy Hill Physio team, Paddy Rowe will take care of the 19 & Under athletes as physiotherapist.
